Formal Recruitment

To become eligible for a bid during Formal Recruitment, a potential new member (pnm) must

       1) attend at least two of the three rotationals
       2) attend at least one invitational party
       3) attend at least one preference party.

Each rotational will allow you to visit all three national panhellenic sororities and the two associate member sororities at least once. It is important to recognize formal recruitment as a mutual selection process. Towards the end of recruitment, the parties become invite-only and ends with those invited to preference parties selecting their top two preferences for receiving a bid. Signing a bid or preference card can bind the PNM to the house for one academic year, preventing the her from signing with another house during that time.

The Panhellenic Recruitment Coordinator and the Recruitment Counselors (Rho Chis) will help assist you by answering any questions you may have and guide you through the process. A Recruitment Counselor will be assigned to each PNM that registers at a recruitment event. Participating in Formal Recruitment does not obligate a woman to accept a bid nor does it guarantee receiving one.
